United Wellness was born out of a simple yet profound vision: to redefine healthcare for women by addressing not just their physical health but their emotional, mental, and overall well-being. It all began with Dr. Pragati Kakkar, a passionate and empathetic healthcare professional, recognized the gaps in women’s healthcare—gaps that often left women feeling unheard, unsupported, and overwhelmed during some of the most critical phases of their lives.
The story of United Wellness is rooted in Dr.Kakkar’s belief that every woman deserves not just treatment but understanding and care tailored to her unique journey. Whether it’s navigating the challenges of fertility, experiencing the transformative stages of pregnancy, managing the complexities of menopause, or simply seeking clarity and support for menstrual health or mental well-being, United Wellness was designed to be a sanctuary—a place where every woman feels seen, valued, and cared for.
Meet the team
Dr Pragati Kakkar
Dr. Pragati Kakkar is a dedicated fertility and reproductive medicine specialist with over 12 years of NHS experience, now bringing her expertise and heartfelt commitment to United Wellness. Trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at esteemed institutions such as Guy’s and St Thomas’, Kingston Hospital, and Royal Surrey County Hospital, she has refined her skills in fertility treatments, including IUI, IVF/ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, ovulation induction, and advanced gynaecological scanning.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Kakkar has led significant research, including the LOCI trial for PCOS patients, and contributed to quality improvement projects. She holds certifications in Menopause management and is a member of RCOG, BFS, and ESHRE. Her dedication was recognized with the Trainee Award for Outstanding Contribution during COVID-19, reflecting her resilience and empathy.
A passionate educator, mentor, and advocate for women’s health, Dr. Kakkar founded United Wellness to provide holistic, patient-centered care. Her practice embodies her vision of empowering and supporting women, integrating clinical excellence with compassionate, personalised treatment.
